  • REACH regulation
  • batteries and accumulators

Customs and International Trade

The Customs and International Trade Service allows our members to obtain concrete answers to customs questions, both for imports and exports:

  • Duties and taxes and import/export procedures
  • Tariff classification, rules of origin and customs valuation, required documents
  • Incoterms
  • Economic customs regimes, simplified customs clearance procedures, etc.

In addition, the Customs department ensures a diagnosis and a follow-up of the litigations: intervention with the customs authorities in the case of blocking of products, recourse in SEAC, pre-judicial or transactional assistance

Technical, health and safety

The Technical Department informs members about national and community standards and regulatory and legislative texts (or draft texts). Some examples of fields of intervention in our sectors are

  • European directives RED, CEM and Low Voltage
  • Energy labelling of products (TVs, washing machines, dishwashers, fridges, ovens, hoods, air conditioners)
  • Declarations of conformity – control of mentions
  • Marketing, recall and withdrawal of products

Our technical expert can also assist company managers in assessing occupational risks and drafting the single document.

The Statistics Department provides members with several tools for targeted analysis of their markets:
